Japanese

On Monday the 14th of September we learned about Japan. I learnt that Japanese people say Moshi Moshi when they answer the phone, which means Hello. Konnichiwa also means Hello, but they say it to a person face to face.
Watashi wa is My name (jessie) in Japanese. I learned the Japanese vowels, how to write some Japanese words, and say good night, which is Konban wa.

P.E.

On Friday we did P.E. with Miss Hart. We played badminton,volleyball and queats.
Queats is a game played with two teams, each team has a frisbee and they have to try
hit the other members on the other team, once your hit you are OUT. The team with the most players out are the winners. Queats is a fun and active game to play, once you get to know the game, you're addicted.

condensation

Condensation is when the water evaporates and rises up high into the air and builds up alot of water until it gets really heavy and drops out of the air\sky and makes puddles of liquid and once the sun comes out the water rises

writing

yesterday in writing we talked about evaporation,evaporation is when water changes to steam.
water is a liquid in the water particles are very close together water vapor is another word for steam.
water vapor is everywhere and is also a gas

I am so exitied because we are getting a new teacher she comes from new zealand and she teaches in america and she wants to teach here in new zealand because she wants to experience what we acheive here in st andrews middle school
